Adrian Peterson is back after missing 11 games with a torn meniscus in his right knee for today’s game. Peterson has repeatedly been one of the best running backs per year and arguably one of the best running backs of all time. He has led the league in rushing three times(2008, 2012, 2015), and is one of only six people to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season(2012). He is the 16th all-time leading rusher even though he has only played 16 games in a season once. He is only 31 years old and had more than 300 attempts in a season three times. We will probably immediately see an impact on the Vikings as they fight for a playoff spot.
