The Kansas City Chiefs have dropped their all-time leading rusher, Jamaal Charles. This move was anticipated after they picked up C.J. Spiller(see “Chiefs Pick Up C.J. Spiller”), but the move is still a little surprising. He had his worst season of his career this year, only playing 3 games and having 12 attempts for 40 yards and one touchdown. He has been in major decline over the past two years, only playing in 8 games in the past two years and only averaging 50.5 yards per game. He only made two catches all year! He has spent his entire career on the Chiefs, but reports show that the Chiefs have done better without Charles playing. He leads the Chiefs all-time in yards with 7,260 yards and has a career average of 5.5 yards per carry. The Chiefs have not been giving him the rock, as they have turned to Spencer Ware, Tyreek Hill, and Charcandrick West. Also, ow they seem to be bringing in C.J. Spiller to the rotation. He also rushed for 1,509 yards in 2012. Now that Jamaal Charles is gone, they will go more to the passing game, where they have Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill.
