The Vikings have dropped Blair Walsh to pick up Kai Forbath. The team has lost their past four games after winning their first five. “It was just something we felt like we needed to do, kind of move forward,” Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said. “We’re all accountable for the things we have to get done, and I think we gave him a lot of opportunities. Walsh has gone 133-158 on field goals in his lifetime which is an 84.2 lifetime average. He is 157-166 on extra points in his lifetime. His career long is 56 yards. Kai Forbath, on the other hand, kicked for the Washington Redskins from 2012 to 2015 and the New Orleans Saints in part of 2015. Kai Forbath has a lifetime FG average of 84.1, as he has gone 69-82 on field goals in his lifetime. Forbath also is 126-129 on extra points in his lifetime. His career long is 57 yards.
